
The 2025 women's football summer transfer window is now open and the rumour mill has been in overdrive.
There have been some impressive signings across Europe over the past few seasons with Chelsea making the most splash with players like Naomi Girma.
Some moves have already been confirmed this summer, while some are still in the works. Below FourFourTwo talks you through the biggest moves and the latest rumours.

The Australia defender Ellie Carpenter is thought to be on the move this summer.
She is currently contracted to Lyon, a club she has competed for since 2020, but is looking at joining an English club according to Soccerdonna.

The specific English club could be Chelsea with another report suggesting Carpenter will be involved in a swap deal with the Blues' Ashley Lawrence.
Carpenter is a two-time Champions League winner and has won over 10 club trophies in her career. The Matildas star has never played in England before.
And as one star is rumoured to be leaving Lyon, another is understood to be arriving.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid have interest in signing Sara Holmgaard according to Relevo.Holmgaard, who played for the Toffees alongside her twin sister, has already departed Everton with her next move yet to be confirmed.

Manchester United's Melvine Malard has garnered interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to IRP.
Hammarby forward Ellen Wangerheim, 20, is being sought after by several clubs including Chelsea, Manchester City and Wolfsburg, according to journalist Amanda Zaza.
Meanwhile, German international and Bayern Munich midfielder Linda Dallmann has interest from Benfica, per reports by Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.
Arsenal also have interest in Liverpool defender Taylor Hinds, according to Arsenblog..
The star came through the Gunners academy and played for the senior team for a season before leaving in 2018.

Wales international Sophie Ingle will leave Chelsea after she has finish rehabilitating her ACL injury.
The star has made more than 210 appearances for the Blues after playing for the club over two spells. She has won over 10 trophies with the club and has been to a Champions League final.
Ingle's next club has not yet been confirmed.
From one Women's Super League legend to another as Jordan Nobbs is leaving Aston Villa.
Nobbs made the move to Villa in 2023 to get more playing minutes to make the World Cup. She achieved that and has continued her impressive run of scoring a goal every season she has played in her career while at the club.
She says she is moving onto the next chapter in her football career but her next club is not yet clear.
After Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 5-2 on the last day of the season, City confirmed Laia Aleixandri has departed the club.
The Spanish international has now confirmed her next destination with a return to her childhood club Barcelona.

And it is not just the English league which has seen departures that shock fans. In the Frauen Bundesliga, goalkeeper Merle Frohms has left Wolfsburg for Real Madrid.
Frohms is one of 10 departures in a big shake up for Wolfsburg. German keeper Frohms retired from international duty in 2024.
Austria international Nicole Billa, who scored against Norway to send them out in the group stage at Euro 2022, has left Cologne to join Stuttgart.
Elsewhere, Juventus legend Sara Gama - who played 153 games for the club and won 13 trophies - has retired from football.
Scotland international Rachel Corsie has also announced her retirement.
She departed Aston Villa at the end of the season and then said after Nations League fixtures with Scotland she would bow out of the game.
Rebecka Blomqvist has also joined Eintracht Frankfurt.
The German club has also welcome Noemi Ivelj from Grasshopper in a shrewd move.
The Swedish star left Wolfsburg, who she had played for for since 2021.
Chelsea have also swooped some promising stars as German youth international Mara Alber and Switzerland goalkeeper Livia Peng have signed for the Blues.
Ingrid Engen is another huge move this summer, she has moved to Lyon on a free from Barcelona.
Japan international Moeka Minami has departed Roma and joined Brighton.
