A woman has shared her secret to getting her oven looking as good as new for £1.
We all know the struggle that comes with tidying up after cooking, but sometimes the oven seems a bit of stretch once the dishes are done.
We’ve all left it a bit too long between cleanings and dreaded the moment you open up the oven.
Mary Rafferty shared her cleaning hack to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, using a £1 cleaner called Mighty Oven.
In her post online, Mary said: “I normally use oven pride (£4.99) to clean my oven but saw this in Poundland and decided to give it a go at £1.
“It is far better and a fifth of the price. Oven like new. No elbow grease required.
“Please note I do not generally let my oven get this dirty. I cook a lot too”.
Alongside the post Mary shared before and after photographs of her oven.
The first image shows grease and stains inside the oven, while the final one shows it in pristine condition following the treatment.
According to Poundland’s website, Mighty Oven cleans inside the oven while transforming racks and grills using a specially made solution and bag to “keep the process simple.”
