Women on hen do track down alleged burglar who stole £50,000 from their AirBnB

A group of British women on a hen do in Spain have gone viral after their AirBnB villa was burgled and they lost £50,000 in cash and belongings. The hens, who wish to remain anonymous, posted the aftermath on TikTok with the initial instalment showing their immediate reaction after realising they had been burgled.

The video shows the devastation inside the villa they had rented in Marbella - with their 13 suitcases strewn across the rooms. Captioned '13 girls robbed in Marbella by Cuban gang and police refused to help', the woman filming can be heard saying "everything is gone", as she tours the rooms.

She also explained that her designer clothes and trainers were taken, along with a least £50,000 worth of the group's cash and belongings. Additional footage shows some of the group speaking to police in the aftermath of the burglary.

The group went to the police station the following morning, where they realised one of their stolen AirPods could lead them to their snatched belongings. The police advised them to go and take a look, but to contact them if anything escalated.

Once the group got there, however, the situation escalated. The group were threatened by the alleged perpetrators, who were said to be a squatter and part of a "Cuban gang".

One man was pictured wielding a pair of bolt cutters and the girls said they were physically attacked after police left them on their own at the scene. The man they suspected, and alleged to be the burglar, tried to make an escape after speaking with the police.

The group, who have had no update from Spanish police, had their passports mysteriously returned under their hire car - but it was too late as the group had already cancelled them and ordered replacements.
