Diversity in tech is startlingly low. Women make up just 27% of the digital workforce. And recently when Paysa reviewed the pay of 1,143 job roles at 63 tech companies they were unable to get accurate figures on the pay gap as there were simply too few women employed to compare.
In the US, figures are even more stark: 61% of startup companies are either all male or mostly male and just 8% are all or mostly female.
So what is life like as a women working in the male-dominated world of tech? If you work in a digital industry, we want to hear from you. Why do you think there are so few women in the sector? Do you think the tech culture needs to change? As a woman what challenges have you faced so far in your career?
