In her general counsel role, Rosemary is responsible for the legal aspects of Vodafone Group Plc's business and, as company secretary, she provides advice and administrative services to the Vodafone Board.

Prior to this she was CEO of the Practical Law Group having previously spent 11 years with Reuters, latterly as its general counsel & company secretary and director of Reuters Foundation, its charitable arm. Before joining Reuters, Rosemary was a partner in a City law firm specialising in company law.

Rosemary became a solicitor in 1984. She is a non-executive director of HSBC Bank Plc (the European arm of HSBC Group) and a member of The Corporate Governance Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. She has held non-executive directorships with the Legal Services Board and in the National Health Service. She is married with 3 children at university.
