Women in Mumbai: how is life changing?

Women on a train in Mumbai.
The discussion centres on how life in Mumbai is changing for women

Tonight from 6.45pm, Guardian Cities and NDTV are hosting a special event at The Hive in Mumbai, exploring how life is changing for women in the city.

We are honoured to be joined by the standup comedian Aditi Mittal, journalist Bachi Karkaria and filmmaker Paromita Vohra - plus a leading representative of the city’s Right To Pee campaign.

But we would love to hear from you too. What is life like for women in Mumbai? Are things changing - and if so, how? Aditi has made a film offering her personal perspective on life in the city - watch it here.

Share your own experiences as a female Mumbaikar - whether it’s stories from work and business, leisure and culture, or just walking around the city.

Leave your thoughts in the comments below, or tweet us at @guardiancities using the hashtag #NDTVGuardianMumbai. Alternatively, you can whatsapp us on +447747461170.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and stories. The discussion will be broadcast live on NDTV at 7pm IST, and live-streamed on the Guardian Cities website from 1.30pm GMT.
