Liz joined Ernst & Young over 25 years ago. Having started her career straight from school, she went on to lead the firm's corporate restructuring practice. Liz is now a member of Ernst & Young's leadership team and is responsible for the approach to people development in the UK & Ireland. She was also recently appointed president of R3 – the industry body for corporate restructuring professionals.
Liz says the best piece of advice she has ever received came from her mum, who said that 'if you aim for the moon then you might hit the top of a tree'. Wise words: earlier this year, Liz was named as one of the top 100 most powerful women by BBC Radio Four's Woman's Hour. Her achievements have also seen her recognised at the CBI First Women Awards, the Women in Banking and Finance awards, and established her as a Stonewall Role Model.
