'Women flirt with my husband right in front of me - he'd never cheat but I find it odd'

A woman has revealed that other women always flirt with her 'handsome' husband when she is sat right next to him, but she's not too fussed by the competition as she raves about being 20 years younger than him.

On several occasions, the woman noticed that other women will approach her husband right in front of her, and she is starting to find it odd.

The woman, who remained anonymous, took to the 'Relationships' forum on Mumsnet to explain that she knows her husband is an approachable, good looking guy but she finds it strange that women will come over when he is clearly sat with her while wearing a wedding ring.

In the post, the woman explained: "We were out for a rare night out on Saturday and with us mid conversation a few women would come over and compliment his shirt, say how familiar looking he is and asking if they know him.

"It goes completely over his head, he's a good looking guy and approachable."

The woman explained she knows her husband is very loyal - even claiming he's as 'faithful as an old sheepdog' - so she doesn't get upset with him but finds the women's behaviour odd.

She said: "It's all in front of me so nothing untoward, he doesn't act sheepish and is an open book.

"I don't get annoyed about it, in fact I don't say a word, just watch the conversation unfold smiling away.

"But isn't it odd? I wouldn't and have never gone over to a guy clearly out with another woman."

In response, many have agreed that the behaviour is odd but the woman is right not to get annoyed about it as the husband is clearly not initiating anything himself.

One person wrote: "Maybe they don't think you're together if you're that much younger. Either way it's crossing the line a bit. Maybe suggest he wears a glow in the dark wedding ring."

While another said: "I think your husband should tell them he's out with his wife and so would they mind leaving as you are having a private conversation."
