
Japanese women curlers compete against Denmark on their way to an 8-5 victory Thursday, their second win in a row at the Pyeongchang Olympics.
Despite falling behind at one point, the Japanese team was ultimately able to read the surface better than its opponents and turned the tide. Their Thursday win came after a sweeping 10-5 victory over the United States on the previous day.
The men's curling team, which has secured an Olympic berth for the first time in two decades, lost 6-5 to Britain on Thursday afternoon. The men's team now has one win and one loss at the Games, having beaten world No. 3 Norway 6-4 on the previous day.
