Love Luna is a period brand with a difference.
Instead of selling pads or tampons, the company make period briefs and underwear, which contain an padded gusset that claims to absorb five to six tampons worth of blood.
The unique underwear can be washed and worn up to 50 times, making them a much more sustainable option than most other sanitary products sold in stores.
Currently available to purchase on Sainsbury's Tu clothing website, the pants come in a range of styles, including bikini knickers, midi knickers, workout knickers and full briefs and the best part is that they're currently on offer, with prices reduced to between £7.50 and £9 per pair.
Women on social media are absolutely loving the brand, going wild for them on Sainsbury's Instagram.
Sainsbury's shared snaps of the underwear, writing: "We all have an unfortunate period story, which is why Tu is super excited to be working with Love Luna.
"These innovative briefs protect against those awkward period situations and are now proudly available at Tu. Hate leaks? Love Luna!"
Many took the time to reply to the post, praising the supermarket and the concept.
One person said: "Amazing!!!"
"This is fantastic," replied someone else.
A different user commented: "These sound so good!"
Someone else proclaimed: "Yes! Love this!"
"Fantastic Sainsbury's, environmentally friendly and convenient! Hitting it out of the park again," added a fifth person.
