A woman was attacked in broad daylight as she pushed a pram along a Gretna street.
The victim ended up on the road with the pram, which had a young child inside at the time, causing passing drivers to stop.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the vicious assault, which took place in the town’s Annan Road at around 3pm on August 20.
The woman also had two other children with her as she when she was approached by the female suspect and set upon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Thankfully the children weren’t harmed during the incident but the woman suffered minor injuries.
