Woman who would eat KFC for lunch now looks so different her family nearly didn't recognise her

A woman lost six stone to get back into her favourite size 8 blue dress.

Szilvia Sebok, 41, took to hanging the dress on her wardrobe door every day to inspire her weight loss mission.

At her heaviest she was 15st 8lbs, and confessed she would have a KFC for lunch most days and binge on takeaways.

She said she made the decision to lose weight after going up to a size 18 in jeans.

And Szilvia, who is now 9st 12lbs, is wearing her size 8 party dress with ease after being heartbroken when it didn't fit her anymore.

Szilvia, a pharmacy assistant from Bristol, said: "I went shopping and couldn't get size 16 jeans on and even struggled with the next size up.

"I felt so uncomfortable and knew I had to make a change.

"I dug out my favourite dress from when I was slim before - it's figure hugging and blue - and hung up on my wardrobe as motivation to fit into it again.

"Now I do and feel amazing."

She added: "I did it all through lockdown so lots of my family didn't see me and when they did again they were so shocked and almost didn't recognise me."

Szilvia had got into the habit of comfort eating and binging on takeaways two to three times a week.

After realising she had gone up another size in September 2019, Szilvia knew it was time for a change.

"I researched different diets and started eating less calories," Szilvia said.

"Before I would have so many takeaways and a KFC for lunch most days, but now I have home cooked meals."

Szilvia was motivated by her desire to get in the blue dress again and bought a rowing machine to use while she was watching TV as well as taking daily walks.

"I kept telling myself: 'I'm going to fit in the blue dress again," she said.

"And now I have."

She now feels much more confident in herself and doesn't feel the need to hide behind baggy clothes.

"Lots of people don't recognise me anymore," she added.

"I didn't tell my family that I was losing weight so when they saw me after lockdown they were so shocked.

"I am so proud of myself."
