A woman who was raped, tortured and imprisoned by her boyfriend wants people to watch this video so that others can see the warning signs.
The short film is reconstructed with actors from the story of 'Tori' who went through an harrowing ordeal at the hands of the man who she thought loved her.
It was posted on YouTube earlier this month to coincide with National Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day, with Tori sharing her experience in the hope of preventing it from happening to someone else, Hull Live reports.
In the footage Tori, from Hull, said: "The police asked me lots of questions and looked at my injuries.
"I still had burns on my arms and back. When they said they were going to question Alek, it was like all the blood draining from my body.
"He was going to find out that I had told them everything. I was frightened that he would get away with it and come after me but he admitted everything.
"Admitted controlling me, hurting me, raping me, imprisoning me, torturing me, sexually exploiting me. The police charged him and deported him back to his home country.
"A couple of years have passed and I feel ready to share my story.
"My ordeal is over but I just want to help people who are just as vulnerable as I was. It's never your fault and no one deserves to be sexually exploited."
It was created by Hull-based social marketing company eskimosoup for the Not in Our Community campaign.
