It's not often we get to say this BUT - here's a tale with a happy ending.
Earlier this week a story circulated about a man called George who matched with a young lady called Thea on Tinder, purely so he could slate her dress sense .
In a downright mean-spirited message he told her, "Not gonna lie you're a bit of a joke but that dress in the last photo is not doing any favours. Hope this helps."
Thea, understandably, was taken aback by the needless cruelty.

It's perhaps overly optimistic to hope that someone like George has taken a good long look at himself and realises the error of his ways.
However, the next best thing has happened.
ASOS - or, as George would say the "charity shop" responsible for the dress, have swept in and used the photo of Thea on their site to advertise the dress.
On their website, they also added: "Swipe right to see who had the last laugh."

Since ASOS shared the link, other women have come forward to not just say how lovely Thea looks in the dress, but many have also been inspired to purchase it for themselves.
Alice Prowse wrote: "Amazing, and actually, it's amazing to see what the dress looks like on a real woman in a real setting.
"I wouldn't have bought the dress based on the original pictures but seeing Thea's picture I want it!!"
