A woman who died after falling from a bridge above the M60 has been named as Katalin Szabo, from Fallowfield.
The 33-year-old, originally from Budapest, Hungary, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene on the morning of Tuesday, 18 May.
Police were called to the motorway between junction 6 and 7 at around 7.50am to reports that a woman had fallen from a bridge close to Sale Waterpark in Trafford.
The stretch of the motorway was closed for around five hours whilst emergency services responded to the tragedy.
An inquest into Miss Szabo's death was opened at South Manchester Coroner's Court today (3 June) by Senior Coroner Alison Mutch.

Police Coroner's Officer, Thompson Nicholls told the court that Miss Szabo was seen to climb over a barrier, before falling to the carriageway below.
She was then struck by a car, the court heard.
Pathologist, Dr Vicki Howarth, concluded that Miss Szabo died as a result of multiple injuries.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
A police investigation remains ongoing, PCO Nicholls told the hearing.
In a previous statement, a spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called around 7.50am (Tuesday 18 May 2021) to the M60, between junction 6 and 7, to a report of a woman falling from a bridge.
"Emergency services attended and a woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
A pre-inquest review into Miss Szoba's death will take place later this year on September 2.
