Woman who claimed to be HIV positive listing 'men she infected' says 'she lied'

A woman who claimed she was HIV positive and listed men she'd allegedly infected in a viral video now reportedly says she lied.

The woman who has been identified in reports as Brandi Yakeima Lasiter from Georgia, America, appeared to brag on Facebook about infecting former sexual partners - who she mentioned by name.

She also named some of their new wives and girlfriends who she claimed could also now have HIV.

"I am HIV positive," she says in the video, naming people she allegedly infected on purpose, 11Alive reports.

In the footage, she proceeds to talking about getting revenge on them, saying she gets 'real nasty and evil'.

Police are investigating the claims after they received links to the video.

Lasiter has taken her video down off her profile, but it has already spread online.

One of the individuals named contacted police and filed a complaint of harassing communications, reports said.

As part of the investigation, Lasiter will reportedly have to be tested to see if she does in fact have the virus.

Under the law in Georgia, it is a crime to knowingly transmit HIV.

Lasiter is being questioned at this time, according to reports.
