Woman walked into ‘Mexican Hooters’ for a nerve-wracking audition. Then random customers chimed in and sealed her fate

Elle Milan from Arizona just got hired at Ojos Locos, a sports cantina known for its waitresses wearing revealing outfits. Her interview process turned out to be quite unusual and went viral online. Milan shared her experience right after the interview at the restaurant, which she called the “Mexican version of Hooters.”

According to Bro Bible, she said she felt nervous when she first walked in, but she connected with the manager quickly. The staff’s revealing uniforms were intense to see at first. She joked that she saw “straight butt cheek in [her] face,” but decided watching her future coworkers was good gym motivation.

The interview went viral on TikTok because of what happened while she talked with the manager. Customers walking by started telling the manager to hire her on the spot. Milan said, “These people start walking by us while she’s interviewing me, and they’re like, ‘Hire this b—. I want this b— to be my server.'” She loved the unexpected support and told viewers, “Damn straight. Tell it to her face. Hire me now!”

The uniform audition is a standard part of the hiring process

The interview didn’t stop at just talking and customer feedback. The manager gave Milan a small uniform right away for an official “audition.” Milan described putting on the outfit and said her rear end was hanging out and her chest was “everywhere.” She joked that she was “sucking in” the whole time and probably looked “constipated” in the photo the manager took. Despite the awkward try-on, she felt confident about how she did.

This physical audition is normal for hiring waitresses, who are called “Chicas.” Other job candidates who shared their experiences online say the process is straightforward but includes several checks. Interviewers make sure applicants are comfortable wearing lingerie and bikinis while working and can do their own makeup.

Past serving experience is also important. One person said the audition mainly confirms candidates can fit into the uniform, which other applicants may have worn before. You can buy a new uniform for the audition if you want. The process takes a few days because the team needs to review the uniform photos from the audition.

Before Milan confirmed she got the job, people online were already praising and encouraging her. Many were surprised to learn about the restaurant, with one person writing, “THERES A HOOTERS FOR LATINAS!!?!????!!” Another asked, “And where is this fine establishment ojos locos located at.” Milan’s story shows how unexpected moments can interrupt everyday situations, just like the customers who stepped in during her interview.

Former employees talked about the money they made working there. One said, “omg yess lol i would make like $600 weekend nights.” Another former worker shared, “GIRL THE MONEY IS THERE 💰 I miss working there but I can’t anymore :(” These comments showed the job can be very profitable for waitresses.

Milan later posted a short update video confirming she successfully “manifested” the job. Her positive attitude and the unexpected customer support during her interview really helped her get hired. The viral moment proved that sometimes shocking workplace situations turn out better than expected.
