Woman vanishes from Aberdeen sparking frantic police search to find her

A woman has vanished from Aberdeen sparking a frantic police search to find her.

Concerns are growing for missing Kim Cheetham who has not been seen since 1pm this afternoon.

Police are looking for the 47-year-old was last seen in the Westburn Road area wearing a dark coloured jumper with a white writing on the front and tracksuit bottoms and carrying a white handbag.

She is described as being 5ft 3ins tall, of a medium build with long dark hair, which, at the time she went missing, was tied up in a ponytail.

Sergeant Nick Searle said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kim’s welfare and are keen to find her as soon as possible.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen Kim to contact us as soon as possible. Similarly, if Kim is reading this, let us know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1972 of 30 August.
