A single woman has shared how she places male items around her house to stay safe from delivery men - to make it seem like she has a boyfriend.
TikTok star Silken Chu, @sulken, said she leaves men's shoes, clothes, and other items such as a skateboard in clear view from the front door.
She even uses an iPad to play an audio clip of a man's voice, from a track titled 'boyfriend roleplay, deep voice, jealous boyfriend'.
Silken, a model from Vancouver, Canada, said that she takes these steps to feel safe, and they've proved popular with her fans as she now has 2.5 million views.
What do you think about the technique? Let us know in the comments...
In the clip, she said: "I have a stranger (male) coming over with a coffee table from Facebook Marketplace so I need to look like I don't live alone."
She then places shoes in the hallway before pressing play on the soundtrack and adds: "Is that a man's voice coming from another room?"
Then she throws a man's hoodie on the sofa, boxing gloves in the hall, and a skateboard against the wall.
