Pets bring so much joy to our lives, but we can't deny there are a few downsides to having animals - such as the mess they make.
One woman has been left wanting to burn her mother's house down after discovering just how much mess the cat had made in the spare bedroom.
Taking to TikTok, a user named Shelly, who posts under @peaceoutshelly, has gone viral after sharing a look at the results of a blacklight test.
In a clip, she shares how her mum thought the cat might have gone for a wee in the guest room, so Shelly was sent to check.
And what she saw absolutely horrified her.

The footage shows Shelly standing in the hallway, before turning on the UV light and making her way into the room.
Once in there she can clearly see the cat has most definitely peed in there - all over the place.
Everywhere she turns on the floor there are splodges of the cat's urine.
Shelly captions the post, writing: "Just burn the whole house down."
She added in the comments: "PSA: My parents feed stray cats outside and one of them comes inside sometimes. There's four litter boxes in the house but the stray doesn't care."
Since being uploaded the video has been viewed over one million times and garnered hundreds of comments.
One person replied: "HOW. HOW do you not smell it?!"
Another said: "No amount of carpet cleaning will get that out. I've been there! Time to rip it out."
A third wrote: "Bro the stench."
Someone else added: "LMFAO honestly looks like a murder scene."
