Woman uses £40 Home Bargains 'tiles' to transform kitchen

Home Bargains fans were impressed after a woman gave her kitchen a whole new look using a pack of vinyl wall tiles.

Shopper Sarah Jane used 10 of the ‘Stick Ease’ packs, costing her £39.99 in total.

The self-adhesive tiles helped her create a modern look on a budget and fellow shoppers praised the look.

Sharing pictures of what she’d bought in the Home Bargains Appreciate Society Facebook group, Sarah said: “Been wanting tiles for kitchen and stumbled across these in home bargains. £3.99 a pack, so happy with end result, just the new windowsill to go on now to cover the top line and then to paint, but definitely recommend for those on a budget.”

After being inundated with questions from impressed shoppers, Sarah then shared her tips to getting the look. She said: “For every one asking they are super easy to do just measure cut required size peel of the backing paper and stick in place.

“To go round sockets I cut one sheet into individual tiles and placed where needed to fill any gaps but keeping the pattern in flow.

“They are wipe clean and I’ve had no peeling or staining issues to date.
