When you go to get your nails done, the manicurist will usually ask you for some inspiration pictures so they can refer to something as they perfect your mani.
One woman was left a little baffled, however, when she came away from the salon with something considerably different than what she'd asked for.
TikTok user @sylvee posted a video showing users what she'd asked for which was originally created by Nails By Mc, a Maryland-based artist.
The mani had a natural base, with a pastel blue design with clouds and swirls giving serious Ariana Grande vibes.
Sadly though, she came out with a very different look to the one she wanted.

In the TikTok video, she can be heard crying as the caption reads "I'm actually painting over them," with crying faces and skull emojis at the end to emphasise her horror at her new set.
She then pointed out that rather than a natural base, she was given a peach shade, with purpley-blue accents.
Sadly, none of the cloud and star design she wanted could be seen on the woman's manicure.
The tips were also different thicknesses, with the pinky finger tip almost covering half of her nail.
The TikToker had expected people to sympathise with her because her mani was nothing like she wanted, but one commenter made it clear she didn't feel sorry for her, asking the question which was on everybody's lips.
"Why did you let them finish?!", she wrote, because the woman would've had ample time to realise the base colour was orange, not the blush pink she'd desired.
@sylvee replied: "I was too nervous to say anything but I'm getting them redone tomorrow."
Another user felt her pain, however, commenting a solitary crying face because the mani is worlds away from the inspiration picture.
