A woman allegedly attempted to stab a teenage boy with a kitchen knife on a South London Bus.
The 15-year-old boy had been travelling with his 51-year-old grandmother on a number 133 bus in Lambeth when he was attacked.
Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage of the incident, appealing for witnesses.
The footage shows a woman approaching the victim in the standing area, producing a knife and apparently trying to stab him.
His grandmother managed to intervene and disarm the attacker, who then got off the bus and fled towards Oval.
The teenager received a minor cut to his stomach.
The suspect has been described as an Asian woman, aged between 20 and 30, wearing a 'distinctive head scarf' with a kangaroo print.
