One woman has found a solution to your shoe cleaning stress - by using a carpet cleaner.
Louise Brittain took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share the cleaning hack which left her light pink Adidas Gazelle trainers looking brand new.
Using Astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner, Louise transformed her trainers from mud stained shoes to a good-as-new pair.
Alongside before and after photos of her trainers, Louise said: “Oh my god...my trainers were absolutely trashed and neglected.
“Used this carpet cleaner just to see if it would actually bring them up and oh my...they look amazing!”.
The post has received hundreds of comments, with many saying they’d be trying the cleaning technique themselves.
