A woman tragically died after being struck by train in Glasgow on Saturday.
Emergency services raced to Hillington East Station at around 5.45pm on October 17 following reports of the incident.
Sadly the female was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "We were called to Hillington East station, Glasgow at 5.43pm on Saturday 17 October following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however, sadly a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’
