Woman taken to hospital with head injury after 'domestic incident' at city centre Aparthotel

A woman has been taken to hospital after a 'domestic incident' at an Aparthotel in Manchester city centre.

Police were called to the incident on Chapel Street at around 3am this morning (Tuesday).

The M.E.N understands it happened at the CitySuites Aparthotel.

A 23-year-old woman was taken to hospital from the scene with a head injury, police said.

Her injuries are not thought to be serious.

No arrests have been made, the force added, and enquiries are ongoing.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called just after 3am this morning (Tuesday 26 October) to reports of a domestic incident at an Aparthotel on Chapel Street in Manchester.

"Officers attended and a 23-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a head injury.

"Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

"No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing."

The CitySuites Aparthotel has been approached for a comment.
