A woman has been taken to hospital after she had fell ill at the wheel and crashed into a wall in Oldham.
The incident happened on Park, near Alexandra Retail Park at around 7.40pm this evening.
Police say a female driver had what they have described as a 'medical episode' whilst driving just past the retail park, close to junction with Woodstock Road.
Her black Mercedes-Benz ended up ploughing into the bridge wall at the side of the road afterwards.
Emergency services were scrambled and the woman, whose age has not been revealed, received treatment at the roadside.
Pictures from passers-by showed white screens had been put around her to give paramedics privacy whilst treating at the busy junction.

Mounted officers were also helping to keep people away and divert traffic.
A GMP spokeswoman confirmed she was later taken to hospital although her condition is not yet known.
The road was closed for over an hour whilst emergency services dealt with the situation.
The damaged Mercedes, which has now been recovered, remained at the scene for a while afterwards.
