A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital after her car flipped onto its roof in a horror smash in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Two cars collided at the junction of Stamford Street and Mill Lane at around 2pm on Sunday.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene after one of the vehicles flipped over onto its roof.
The driver, a woman in her 50s, became trapped and had to be cut out by firefighters.
She was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
The driver of the second car is believed to have escaped uninjured.

In a post on the GMP Tameside North Facebook page, police confirmed both Stamford Street and Mill Lane were closed off after the incident while the wreckage was cleared.
The roads reopened at around 4.30pm.

A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called just after 2pm to reports of a road traffic collision.
"Two fire engines from Ashton and Stalybridge attended with a technical response unit from Ashton.
"The RTC involved two vehicles on Stamford Street.
"There was one casualty. A woman aged between 50 and 60 was rescued from the vehicle using cutting equipment.
"She was then taken to hospital.
"Crews were in attendance for an hour."
