A woman has been rushed to hospital after a car smashed into a Redland shop.
Firefighters cut free the woman after the vehicle hit a Premier shop on Lower Redland Road at around 5:03pm. The shop is currently closed and the vehicle remains wedged in the front of the building.
No customers or staff were injured in the accident. The shop is owned by Ian Daley who was outside just before the crash.
A shocked Mr Daley said: “I was so lucky as I came round into the shop just seconds before the accident happened.
“The car has hit the front of the shop and it has buckled the frame and the window is gone. No staff or customers were injured.”

Recovery vehicles are on scene. Crews from Southmead and Temple attended the accident.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "We were called to a road traffic collision involving one vehicle and one shop front.
"One female was rescued, crews used small tolls and an electric saw. She was conveyed to hospital and police were in attendance."
Temple fire station tweeted the incident is still ongoing and warned drivers to avoid the area.
