A woman was taken to hospital following an incident in Wigan.
Police were called to Darlington Street just after 11.15pm last night on Friday (April 9).
A woman was found with injuries to her arm and was taken to hospital where she remains.
Her injuries are believed to be minor.
A 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault but was released without charge, a spokesman for GMP said.
A witness described seeing a police cordon and several ambulances leaving the scene.
In a statement, GMP said: “Officers were called just after 11.15pm last night (9 April 2021) to a report of a woman injured on Darlington Street in Wigan.

“A woman was found with an arm injury and was taken to hospital where she remains with a minor injury.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and released without charge.”
