Woman SUV driver booked for running over pedestrian

NAVI MUMBAI: Sanpada police booked a 34-year-old woman, Sherly Thomas, from Airoli for rash and negligent driving causing the death of a pedestrian, a 28-year-old labourer, after she mowed him down with her SUV while driving along Palm Beach Road at 4.30pm on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Raju Orang who was run over while crossing the road. The woman rushed him to hospital.
