A fitness coach stunned fans when she showed how photos can be manipulated on Instagram to achieve the “perfect” look. Holly Cockerill posted a series of before and after photos to reveal the stark transformation.
Holly, from Blackburn, regularly shares edited images to highlight how people can change their appearance online. In her recent post she shared a series of composite, showing her natural looks beside altered images.
In one photo she stands next to her boyfriend and they’re both smiling for the camera. In the filtered version her straight hair is longer and wavy, her waist appears smaller and her face is flawless, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Another picture shows Holly pulling a funny face. The edited version beside it suddenly shows her smiling instead, with thicker eyelashes, a more contoured face, and defined eyebrows.
Captioning the side-by-side photos, Holly said: "This is for the gals that need a reminder that not everyone is as perfect and airbrushed as they seem, and that’s okay! We are perfectly imperfect".
The post has quickly amassed hundreds of likes, with many people commenting on the "extreme" photo edits. Charlotte said: "This is actually wild! And so sad that people feel they have to do this".
Taylor Leanne Perkins said: "Amazing! Needed this today, teaches women to be comfortable in there own skin, we need to stop putting filters on and be proud of who we are naturally". Carly said: "It’s unbelievable people can do this isn’t it xx".
