A woman was taken to hospital with a "serious" injury to her arm after a crash on Queens Drive.
The emergency services were called out to the scene near the junction with Moscow Drive in the Stoneycroft area at around 4.40pm yesterday ( Tuesday) following reports of a crash between a Peugeot and a Ford Focus.
Police today confirmed a woman suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries to her arm and hand and was taken to hospital.
Two young children were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Liam Cunningham, who was in the area at the time of the accident, said a man rushed over to help the family after the crash and pulled the children out of the car.
Mr Cunningham described a loud bang and turned around to see the car tipping on its side.
Photographs from the scene scene showed a Peugeot left on its side and smashed glass scattered across the road.
Traffic and buses were diverted away from the area on Tuesday evening as emergency services worked at the scene.

The road reopened shortly after 6.45pm, police confirmed.
