A woman suffered facial injures two days before Christmas when she was hit by a car.
Star Majoros finished work and was crossing the road when she was struck by the vehicle in Newcastle.
The driver stopped at the scene and spoke to officers after the crash while Star was being taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
There she received stitches to her forehead and upper lip, Chronicle Live reported .
She also had several bruises on her body and lost her two front teeth.
The 24-year-old said: "I don't remember anything about the crash. The first thing I remember is being in an ambulance, with blood all over me, and crying.

"I only know what my work colleagues have told me. They say someone ran into the showroom and said I had been knocked down by a car.
"They ran out and saw a few people around. They all helped me to get up but they said I was crying and screaming.
"They got me to the showroom and tried to put me on a chair. But I was so scared that I just stayed on the floor and I just cried and screamed.

"I was taken to hospital where they did X-rays and a CT scan. I had a huge injury to my forehead and I needed 15 or 16 stitches.
"I also needed five or six stitches to my upper lip. I lost two of my teeth. I can't really eat, it's really hard to eat. There is a lot of pain in my jaw and bruises all around my body."
Star was discharged on Christmas Eve and spent Christmas Day recovering.

She said: "I've been crying a lot. I can't see myself in the mirror because of how I look."
Some of Star's friends have set a Gofundme page up on her behalf, so that she can pay for her dental work.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 4.45pm on December 23 we received a report a pedestrian had been in collision with a car on Portland Road, near Warwick Street.
"Emergency services attended and a 24-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
