An Edinburgh woman was left bewildered after catching a ' UFO ' on camera near her home.
Murron Aitchison captured the strange footage in Saughton at around 5.13pm on Saturday.
The floating dark object darts in the direction of Edinburgh Airport leaving residents guessing what the shape could be.
Sharing the clip on social media viewers were left baffled by the shadowy figure dipping in and out of sight above rooftops, reports Edinburgh Live.
Murron told Edinburgh Live : "I'm still not sure, people are saying birds but I've got videos that go on for about ten to 15 minutes and I don't think birds can do that this long.
"Also they were disappearing, like proper disappearing - the sighting was coming from somewhere around the Edinburgh Airport."
The video posted on Facebook had users sharing heir thoughts with some guessing at what exactly Murron caught on camera.
One person said: "UFO!"
A second person said: "I was just going to say birds."
A third person said: "Oh my god!"
A fourth person said: "Weird."
