Woman standing on wrong side of bridge as M621 closed in both directions

The M621 is closed in both directions after drivers reported seeing a woman on an overhead bridge.

Police have closed both carriageways and blocked Turnstall Road, which crosses over the M621 at junction five in Hunslet.

Several police vehicles, ambulances and fire engines have stationed themselves near the Turnstall Road bridge.

LeedsLive reporter Kristian Johnson was caught in the traffic and said: "Just driven past and police and paramedics have closed Tunstall Road in both directions."

West Yorkshire Police have not yet confirmed the reason for the closure.

Huge queues have built up in both directions on the M621.
