Woman sparks fury after admitting she doesn't wash pyjamas after every wear

Doing the laundry is a mundane task, and as an adult these household chores often feel never-ending. As soon as you've put one wash on, the laundry basket is already brimming, which can make it feel like an endless cycle. The debate around cleaning and personal hygiene often heats up on social media, as people have recently been criticised for not showering every day.

Now, a woman has caused serious controversy on TikTok after admitting that she doesn't wash her pyjamas after every wear. Instead, she only sticks them in the washing machine after wearing them a few times.

This admission has left many people horrified as they deem it to be unhygienic, but the woman doesn't see what the big fuss is all about.

TikToker Allison Delperdang often shares clips to her 11,000 followers about all things to do with adult life and weddings. Recently she shared a clip to ask people about their pyjama washing habits.

In the post, she said: "I need to know if people wear pyjamas multiple nights in a row. When I was younger my parents would always make us wear pyjamas multiple nights in a row as they weren't dirty. And I still do that as an adult."

She goes onto ask her fans what their views are on the subject and if she should be doing this as an adult or if she should washing her pyjamas after each night sleep.

She said: "I need to know, as adults are we still doing that. Or should I literally be making dirty clothes every single night."

In response, her fans have been divided by these comments as some say it is totally acceptable to wear them a few nights in a row, while others are horrified.

One person stated: "Wait. There's people who don't wear their PJs multiple nights in a row?"

While another noted: "Absolutely wear them multiple times."

However, others were not so sure as one said: "No, because I am wearing them for 8+ hours, they just don't feel clean."

A second person agreed and said: "I never re-wear PJs... we shed dead skin cells constantly and even though it may not be dirty I can't do it lol."
