Woman sparks fierce debate with 'bean pizza' - as most brand it an abomination

When you're feeling down in the dumps, there's arguably nothing better than sinking your teeth into some good old comfort food to soothe your tummy and mind.

Some people might go for chocolate, whereas others might opt for the biggest Chinese takeaway order they can muster. Whatever floats your boat.

However, one woman has been left feeling horrified after discovering what her friend makes herself to eat whenever she's down and needs cheering up - and it's fair to say people have been left divided.

Twitter user Bex didn't know how to feel when she discovered that her friend cheers herself up by making a 'bean pizza,' which she then dips in mayonnaise. You read that correctly, bean pizza.

"Just found out when my friend wants to cheer herself up she makes 'bean pizza' and dips it in mayo I can’t do this anymore," she tweeted from her handle @bexi_bambi.

People were quick to respond to the tweet, which has been liked nearly 2,000, with many slamming the anonymous friend's choice of comfort food as an abomination.

"What a terrible day to have eyes," one Twitter user wrote, while another added: "I will personally never forgive you for exposing me to this."

A third joked: "Do NOT let US twitter find out about this."

One furious Twitter user even responded with an old 2012 tweet from George Michael, calling them "sick f***ing b******s." Alright, alright, it's bad but it's not that bad.

Not everyone agrees though, with one person replying saying the bean pizza looked "incredible" and another saying they don't mind the concept of a bean pizza, but the mayo dipping takes it a step too far. At least we know they have some boundaries.
