Woman slammed as 'controlling' over 'controversial' rules boyfriend must follow

Boundaries are an integral part of healthy relationships.

But one woman has been labelled as "controlling" after she shared hers online.

Natalia Reinoso posted a video to her TikTok @thefreakshowcircus outlining just a few of the "controversial" Instagram rules she makes her partner follow when they're dating, like not being allowed to follow girls they've "held hands with."

It was captioned: "If you dated my man after, YOU'RE WELCOME."

In the clip, which has since been viewed 1.5 million times, Natalia said that when she told her guy friends about the rules, they called her a "psycho b****," but she's not worried about scaring off any potential suitors.

"So number one: Block anybody you had a romantic interaction with.

"Like obviously people you've slept with is a no-no but if I found out you held a b**ch's hand and you're still following her, you're done," Reinoso warned.

"Number two: No following new women since the day we started dating. Period.

"Number three: No searching girls' names in the handlebar.

"Like what are you searching for?" she asked.

"No, but really.

"What are you searching for because you should find it in me."

Her boyfriends are also banned from liking other girls' photos.

"Every guy knows girls don't like this so the fact that you're continuing to do it knowing internationally women don't like this is a slap in the face, so period point blanks no."

Natalia is yet to share what's left on her list, however, it appears that there are rules for sharing stories on the app and liking bikini photos.

Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 260,000 likes and 5,700 comments from people who were keen to share their thoughts on her boundaries, with a few saying she was "controlling."

One person said: "I really hope this is a joke because this is so controlling."

Another wrote: "I genuinely do not have the energy to care what a partner does on Instagram, what."

A third commented: "I think if you trusted your partner the thought of asking these things wouldn't even cross your mind."

While someone else wrote: "These are all valid and you can’t change my mind."

And another viewer added: "It’s bare minimum respect."
