A woman has been left "sickened" after an angry neighbour sparked a parking row in their local area by scrawling a "disgusting" note on the bonnet of her elderly parents' car.
The woman, from North Shore, Sydney, Australia, took to her local community's Facebook page to explain her parents had been visiting her house to babysit their three grandchildren while their mum enjoyed a weekend away.
The elderly couple had parked their car on the woman's driveway because her mother has mobility issues, but in doing so, part of their vehicle was left blocking the pavement, reports news.com.au.
And rather than just walk around the car, one of the woman's furious neighbours decided to take matters into their own hands - and vandalised the car by writing the word "footpath" in permanent marker on the bright white bonnet.

In the anonymous woman's Facebook post, she wrote: “My dad parked in our driveway to help my mother get closer access to the house given her abilities.
"In doing so, they were blocking the footpath but walkers could still walk around the back of the car.
“I totally understand the concerns of blocking the footpath but to write with permanent marker all over their front bonnet is disgusting erratic behaviour and I’m absolutely sickened to think a person such as this lives nearby.”
The mum-of-three also claimed her dad had every intention of moving the car once her mum was safely inside, but was unable to because her children need constant supervision.
The couple then found the message on their car when they went to move it the following morning, and their daughter has been left completely baffled by her neighbour's actions.
She continued: “This is vandalism and is illegal! I feel so sorry for this person in every way as they would have had so much hatred at the thought of walking around a car to go home and get a marker, come back and vandalise a car.
"Just WOW! Next time be a big enough person to ring the doorbell and advise [us] directly so we can fix this in an amicable way and you can walk the straight path that you so desire. Or if you wish to remain anonymous, write it on PAPER!”
The bizarre act has split opinions online though, as while some commenters were equally as baffled by the vandalism, others could understand why people would be angry at the pavement being blocked.
One person said: “What a bitter, sad person who did this. I pity their miserable existence!"
As another added: “Wow I can’t believe someone did this what an a***hole! Your poor parents! I hope they are okay and not too upset."
But someone else disagreed, writing: “Vandalism is illegal, but so is parking across the footpath. If the mother has mobility issues, then they should have had more awareness themselves."
"Don’t block the footpath. Easy as", a fourth stated.
