Woman shot in West Pullman

A woman was shot in the 200 block of West 119th Street, Oct. 28, 2019, in West Pullman. | Sun-Times file photo

A woman was wounded in a shooting Monday in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The 34-year-old was walking on a sidewalk about 10:38 p.m. in the 200 block of West 119th Street when she heard shots and felt pain, Chicago police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the thigh, police said.

No arrests have been reported. Area South detectives are investigating.
