Woman shot in Hermosa: police

A 20-year-old woman was injured when she was shot Tuesday in Hermosa on the Northwest Side.

She was in a vehicle about 8:22 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Kildare Avenue when she was struck by gunfire, Chicago police said.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized.

Area North detectives are investigating.
