Woman shot and killed in Fuller Park

The woman was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

A woman was fatally wounded by gunfire Sunday in Fuller Park.

About 4 a.m., the 26-year-old was outside in the 4900 block of South Princeton Avenue when shots rang out, Chicago police said. She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Police said witnesses were “uncooperative” with investigators.

No arrests have been made as Area Central detectives investigate.
