Woman shares pictures of bite marks after horror dog attack on beach in Co Dublin

A woman living in Dublin has warned dog owners to keep their pets on a lead after she was attacked on Sunday.

Evelina Kamiskiene was walking on Donabate beach at around 3pm when she came across a couple of people walking dogs.

Seconds later, she was viciously mauled by one of the hounds who bit her in the leg from behind, Dublin Live reports.

She said: "I'm not sure what type of dogs they were but they were big and brown in colour."

"It was a couple that was walking them, a man and a woman, they had two big dogs and five smaller dogs. The dog that bit me was not on a lead.

"Then, the other big dog bit me from behind as I had passed."

Evelina said that she was in "complete shock" and had "never experienced pain like it before".

"She just smiled and said 'you okay?' and I said 'no, not really' but they kept walking.

"I walked away to the car, it was sore but I had no idea that it was that bad."

She added: "I checked my sore at home because I know if a dog is aggressive and he feels blood, he can attack again.

"Then, I made an appointment with my GP and he gave me an injection.
