With all our household bills seemingly going up, you might be looking for energy-saving tips and tricks.
And if you're someone who loves to get their washing dry in the tumble dryer, instead of on a clothes horse, but are worried about the cost, then one woman has a top hack for you.
A blogger, who shares tips on money, recently shared a post on how to reduce the amount of time you're using your tumble dryer for, which in turn could shave some cash off your bills.
To reduce the amount of drying time you need, all you have to do is throw in a towel.

Posting on makemoneywithoutajob.com, the unnamed blogger explains: "This clever little tumble dryer hack is to put a dry towel into your tumble dryer with your wet washing.
"The towel will absorb moisture in your washing and help it to dry faster – reducing the amount of time you need to run your dryer and saving you cash!
"There is some debate as to whether you need to remove the towel after 15 – 30 minutes. I have found that my drying time is reduced without needing to remove the towel, but if this hack isn't working for you then try removing the towel after 15 – 30 minutes."
There are three different types of tumble dryers - heat pump, vented and condenser. Depending on which you have, the price of running will vary. However, on average, it is estimated that a tumble dryer uses roughly 4.5 kWh of energy per cycle and can cost between 50p and 75p per hour.
The blog post isn't clear on how much money exactly this trick will save you, but every little helps, especially as tumble dryers are one of the most energy-intensive devices used in the home.
The tip has proved a hit with media users, who have since claimed that this towel trick has cut their drying time in half.
One person said: "I've been doing it for the last two weeks and it's cut the drying time in half."
