If you're anything like us, the chances are you'll have sampled a fair bit of wine of the last few days, because if you can't enjoy a tipple at Christmas then when can you?
You might now find yourself wanting to have a little break from the booze after some heavy indulgence, but if you do happen to have any wine left over from the holidays then fear not - you don't need to throw it away.
One of the best uses of leftover Christmas wine is arguably using it to enhance a number of delicious recipes, from risottos to soup and one woman has shared a genius hack for savouring those last drops and keeping them fresh for future use.

Sharing the hack on Instagram, Fran, founder of EarthBits, suggested pouring the left over wine into ice cube trays, before freezing it - just like you would with water.
Then, you can use the wine cubes from frozen anytime, simply by adding them to any recipe, such as stew or chilli con carne. Genius!
The hack was later reposted to home and kitchen wear brand Swan's TikTok account ( @swanbranduk ).
"What is this leftover wine you speak of?!" one TikTok user joked, and they make a good point - although after the last couple of days we're ready to say goodbye to the bottle for a good few weeks.
