Woman shares life-changing folding hacks for people who hate doing laundry

Unless you're one of Mrs Hinch's cleaning queens, the chances are you'll hate doing chores like laundry, just like the rest of us.

But for most of us, the actual washing isn't so much of an issue. After all, you only need to throw dirty clothes into a pile before whacking them into the machine.

It's the laborious task of ironing, folding and then putting clothes away in a fashion which won't leave them too wrinkled to wear, for us. In fact, it gives us a sweat on even just thinking about it.

But, while the ability to effectively fold and put away our clothes might seem like the one thing that separates us and the Marie Kondos of the world, one woman is sharing simple, yet effective, folding hacks which can organise the drawers of even the messiest among us.

Natasha has a unique way of folding clothes for perfect organisation (effectivespaces/TikTok)

Natasha, from Melbourne, Australia, who goes by the name of Effective Spaces on TikTok, shares folding hacks and organisation tricks fit for the Queen, or your local department store.

In one clip Natasha shows how to effectively fold a jumper without it unfolding by itself and taking up too much room.

All you have to do is lay the jumper out flat on the bed and fold the bottom of the top up, before folding the arms inwards diagonally, so that the wrist part of the sleeves are in the opposite bottom corners of the top.

Then, you fold the jumper into vertical thirds, and then into horizontal thirds, so that you can then tuck the jumper in on itself and stop it from unravelling. Trust us, it sounds complicated, but her clips make it look super easy and you can watch it in the video above.

In another video, Natasha teaches how to effectively fold T-shirts so they look like they've been taken straight out of a posh department store.

The method includes cleverly pinching two spots on the shirt and folding it twice into the perfect display shirt. Seriously, it looks as though it could come straight out of a magic trick.
