Woman shares Kleenex hack to 'straighten' hair and people think it's a 'game-changer'

When it comes to styling hair, there are a number of tools and tricks we can use - from straighteners to curling wands and tongs, to blow dries and now even dressing gown belts.

But one woman has gone viral on social media after claiming she 'straightened' her hair using a rather unexpected item.

A TikTok user named Jessica Martorell, spotted a video of another user, @snconroy, using a tumble dryer sheet to reduce frizz in her hair and decided to try it for herself.

However, instead of using a dryer sheet, Jessica gave the hair hack a go using a Kleenex tissue.

She filmed herself running the tissue down the length of her hair and she was stunned by the results, which left her locks frizz-free, smooth and straight.

Her clip quickly went garnered a lot of attention, being viewed more than 20 million times and racking up over 1.8 million likes.

Many people also took the time to comment, claiming they would be trying out the hair hack for themselves.

One person replied: “I know what I’m buying at the weekend!”

"I’m male but damn this was useful omg thank you," another viewer wrote.

Others branded the trick a "game-changer", while some said they wouldn’t need to use hairspray ever again thanks to the clever hack.

And it's also clearly a big time-saver, as a fourth person proclaimed it would "remove 10 minutes in the morning".

A different user added: "The look on your face is priceless."

A sixth explained: "Yep this is true! Dryer sheets remove static! You can use this on your hair or pets hair, etc."
