Woman shares hairdryer hack for curls - and some say it's better than Dyson Airwrap

Getting that salon-perfect look at home is never an easy feat, but thanks to TikTok we are learning new tips, tricks and hacks every day.

We've learnt how to create effortless curls in a matter of seconds, discovered how to properly wash our hair and been shown how to fake the appearance of French plaits.

And now, one hairdresser has shared her hack for creating a perfect flicky blowdry that takes just a few minutes and looks pretty failproof.

Hairstylist and TikTok creator @yazblends has shared her step-by-step guide and the results are so good, some have compared it to the Dyson Airwrap - which costs £400.

Yazmina starts by sectioning her client's hair into two pieces and twisting them away from the face.

She then applies heat with a hairdryer and lets them set for one to two minutes.

Once the hair is cooled she untwists the hair and runs her finger through to release gorgeous flicks.

Yazmina says it's important to make sure the hairdryer is on the hot setting and recommends using the method on dry hair.

The video was posted five days ago and has already been viewed 6.8million times.

One fan wrote: "Wow, that looks similar to Dyson Air wrap but doesn’t cost $600."

Another said: "I used to do my hair like this for years and I promise it lasts."

A third said: "I’ve been wasting so much time curling with a round brush."
