Buying and applying false eyelashes every time you want to add a touch of glam to your make-up look can be costly and time-consuming - but what if there was a way you could cheat the system by making people think you're wearing falsies when you're not?
That's the goal of a "genius" hack developed by one woman on TikTok, who has stunned people online by using a simple make-up product to mimic the look of false lashes without actually wearing any at all.
Anna shared a video in which she revealed she had simply drawn small lines on her eyelid with her eyeliner to create little flicks that matched up perfectly with her eyelashes when her eyes were open - making her lashes look much longer than they actually are.

And the trick didn't cost her anything extra, as she already had eyeliner in her make-up bag.
The woman, who posts under the username @annathepeach, wrote on her video: "You can't just draw fake lashes on your eyelid and pretend they're falsies."
She then captioned the clip: "Ok but can you tell?? My hooded eyelid struggles and also one of my favourite lazy girl makeup hacks."

Anna's video quickly went viral and currently has more than 103,000 likes - and people are blown away by how "real" the finished result looks.
One person wrote: "It looks so real, oh my god."
While another said: "This is genius!"
Others admitted they couldn't tell the difference until Anna got closer to the camera to show off the marks on her eyelids, and said the trick was "so smart".
However, Anna later took to the comments to admit she only really uses the hack when she's feeling "lazy" and will be spending most of the day wearing sunglasses.
The illusion of volume on her lashes means she can still look her best in photos without having to go all-out with false lashes.
When one commenter said she would need to be "careful about blinking and angles" if she used the trick, Anna replied: "This is true! This is just my lazy girl hack for when I know I’m going to be outside/wearing sunglasses most of the time but might want pictures."
